Sunfire Mirage
This piece explores connection through repetition, colour and shape. The city-like forms are built from individual blocks, each separate but joined together to create something larger. The repeated squares suggest windows, rooms or individual lives, small spaces existing alongside one another within a much bigger whole. Although there is a sense of structure, it is not completely ordered. Buildings overlap, colours compete and shapes shift across the canvas, allowing the city to feel both organised and chaotic. The large circular form above contrasts with the crowded landscape below, creating a moment of openness within the density. The work reflects the way connection can emerge from difference and disorder. Individual forms keep their own identity while becoming part of a wider pattern, showing how separate lives, experiences and energies can collide and come together to create something collective and alive.
